Dance studios are known for creating comfortable, safe environments where dancers can experiment with self-expression. However, many of us feel unprepared to support students as they come into their identities as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Samm Wesler is no stranger to leading diversity and inclusion training. As a gay woman who grew up in studios, she knows firsthand how language can shape the development of LGBTQIA+ adolescents. In the podcast, Samm shares how to lead a diversity and inclusion training in your dance studio and walks you through solid strategies to help you feel more comfortable and prepared when speaking about these topics with your team.

As studio owners ourselves, we've been there. But, it's also very possible to be a happy owner of a thriving dance business that you love.
